How do you design?

Yesterday, the LEGO Ideas blog posted an interview with the designer of the upcoming LEGO Space Shuttle, Andrew Harkins. It got us thinking about the many different ways we design - some of us just start building; some use sketches and then build; and some of us use Lego Digital Designer or other CAD software. This is a great interview and worthy of a few minutes of your time (plus you get some great insights on how the project developed).
