What to do with a few extra bricks?

Although this is a few months old, it’s a really interesting build.  LEGO and the McLaren Automotive Group built a life-sized McLaren almost entirely out of LEGO bricks.  Watch the YouTube video to see it being built with 28,000 bricks.  It raised several thousand dollars for charity - although some people have wondered if the cost of the LEGO bricks exceeded the money raised for the charities.  That's not the point - this was a promotional project that also did good things for the charities.  Well done LEGO and McLaren!
