LEGO Factory Coming to Virginia!

What a cool LEGO map, but why didn’t they shop local, shop small, and ask Brick-X to make it?

How exciting - the LEGO Group announced that they will be investing $1B to build a carbon-neutral factory in Chesterfield, VA. Using a map made from LEGO bricks, Gov. Youngkin made the announcement on June 15. The company’s seventh factory will include molding, processing, packing and warehousing operations and will create more than 1,760 jobs over the next decade. Sadly, operations will not start until 2025. Just think - maybe we can skip Customs for our shipments of bulk bricks! The joy of it! See a local story here.
